Growing up from early childhood Amy Jane has had a successful career as an athlete. Having been a competitive synchronized swimmer for close to a decade, a part of the Ohio HS State Runner up speed swim team, completed two full marathons; she has realized the power that yoga has played throughout her life. Whether it be injury prevention, team building, strengthening, flexibility or keeping a calm mind during a competition-yoga can too help enhance your athletic endeavors.
Amy Jane has taught the following sports team group yoga sessions: football, soccer, lacrosse, speed & synchronized swimmers, track, cross country and field hockey teams.
After one session your athletes will feel the difference that yoga makes!

Amy Jane supports and encourages mindfulness each day. Whether it's meditation, chopping vegetables, hiking in nature or sipping tea and noticing all the beauty in the moment! She has been a supporter of City Silence and has hosted weekly meditations in Cincinnati, OH as well in Santa Fe, NM. She also has experience in formulating, writing and editing Yoga Alliance approved Teacher Training curriculums. Amy Jane has also helped to edit and reformat a 200 Hr Teacher Training manual for a non-profit based in her hometown of Cincinnati, Ohio.

With a Bachelor's in Art Education K-12, Amy Jane has had extensive experience teaching yoga & mindfulness to children of all ages. From under-served schools, after school programs, summer camps, young children to teenagers; she has experience with each and every age group! Amy Jane is also CPR & First Aid certified.
She has recently taught an 8 week mindfulness yoga program at both Wood Gormley Elementary & Amy Biehl Community School in Santa Fe, NM.
Amy Jane has also been visiting artist at the O'Keeffe Art & Leadership Program for girls in the summer of 2016 (as well as teaching yoga to the participants in 2015, 2016 & 2017).

"Amy Jane taught me an amazing hour-long yoga class the day before my wedding. Amy Jane and I had planned this out months and months before the wedding, but as the day of her class arrived, I must admit I almost cancelled because I was really stressed out and had been running around like a chicken with it's head cut off all day long, however I cannot tell you how incredibly happy I am that I did not cancel! An hour before Amy Jane's yoga class, I was in tears with a clenched jaw trying to get last minute wedding details worked out. This class will focus on relieving tension in the physical body and soothing the nervous system. Restorative poses are held up to ten minutes with the support of props (such as blankets, bolsters, blocks and straps). This class is suitable for all levels and great for those who are looking to release everyday stress!
